What is Bending &Torsion Resistance Testing Machine? What does it do?
This machine is mainly used for bending and torsion testing of post-insulators. The vertical structure is applied for easy installation and assembly of spare parts, and also it is better to simulate the natural environment of post insulators. The machine is composed of a main body, measuring system, and data processing system controlled by a microcomputer. Using software control, the testing procedure is performed easily and smoothly, with accurate testing data and curves automatically drawn, and results can be saved and printed. The Servo motor is applied in the loading system enables it to perform tests continuously as preset and the user just has to put on the specimens. It can also automatically monitor the testing force, speed of loading, maintain peek force and etc. Overload protection and deflection protection are two main functions during the testing process. The testing result is saved after tests which can be recalled and printed

What is the main body made of?
The main body of the machine is made of vertical steel frames: the Servo motor is connected to the rotatable base, the movable cross arm is installed on a vertical post and connected to a linear slide-way and screw. The torsion device is installed on the cross arm with sensor on the side. Marvelous design based on accumulation of technics Torsion sensor is between torsion device and torque device, the adjustable cross arm can suit specimens with different length. The rotatable base is used to do torsion test, servo motor on cross arm makes torsion device capable of performing bending test in horizontal direction. Bending test can be done in four directions automatically as parameters are preset. The good measuring capability of servo motor enables display of deflection angel and no need for extra deflection sensor.

• Frame structure is applied in vertical post with entire welding and heat process technics, effectively controlling the perpendicularity of the post.
• No grounding base is needed, specimen and base are attached with T shape bolt, and a pneumatic spanner is provided.
• Protection mask is made of an organic glass plate with a stainless steel net, available for clear observation of test and protects people at the same time
